About The department
The Department of History at Rajganj College, established in 2009, began offering an Honours course in 2017 with 30 students. The department is staffed by four dedicated teachers: Dr. Sudip Khasnobish, Moumita Singha, Satya Narayan Routh, and Utpal Majumdar. They foster a dynamic learning environment where students actively engage in discussions and research. The department hosts seminars, workshops, and guest lectures to enhance the educational experience.Beyond the classroom, the department organizes various programs and events aimed at enriching the students’ educational experience.
