Notably, the department has produced athletes who have gone on to achieve significant success. Among them, former students Rahul Roy and Bijay Roy from the 2015-16 batch made it to the esteemed East Bengal Football Junior’s team, a testament to the high caliber of training and mentorship offered by the department. More recently, Bijay Roy from the 2022-23 session has continued this legacy, showcasing the department’s ongoing commitment to nurturing top-tier athletic talent.
